Because we’ve got the Gulf on our minds. Because we’re grief stricken at the wanton destruction of life, livelihood and environment. Because this might very well be the last authentic shrimp po’ boy that MAC will ever have the pleasure of eating in New Orleans.

We are still basking in the afterglow of one amazing week at this incredible house to celebrate the nuptials of our good friends Grailing and Sarah on Point Lobos Ridge in Carmel, CA. It’s true that MAC is a peninsula native, but even she couldn’t believe the breathtaking view. We can’t say enough nice stuff about this place, so we won’t even try. (And yeah, that’s Santa Cruz in the distance over Pebble Beach.)
